How easy do you find it to say no? What makes you say yes when you don’t really want to?


Society’s expectations?

Family expectations?

FOMO?

Fear of upsetting someone?

Not being liked?


There are so many reasons to say yes, but if it’s at the expense of your wellbeing then it’s time to dig deep and say no.


Ever heard of the distant elephant analogy? The biggest elephants look small from far away. Saying yes to lots of little things may not seem a big deal now but future you will be no less busy than today you and those big things will soon be up close and personal!


So be kind to yourself, be mindful of your distant elephants and be brave enough to try out a no or two this week....
